Yes, we are looking to add a couple new faces. Just not as high level, we need a couple more lower level players to offset our top levels. If you come across someone in global who has a good attitude, likes war and donates...thats a good start!

No, I agree. While as a rule we say 500 donations earns elder....doesn't mean we have to give it. That kid needs to burn some serious energy.

Pulled this of the Supercell Forum, not sure it tells us much more then we already knew...
Clan Wars Matchmaking
How are clans matched for a clan war? Clan wars matchmaking matches clans based on the strength of their members. Unlike multiplayer battles, trophies have no influence in determining your clan wars opponent. After an opposing clan is found, the war immediately starts. There’s no “nexting” in clan wars matchmaking.
How is strength calculated in clan wars? Strength is based on each member’s attacking power (troops, army camp capacity, spells and heroes) and defensive strength (defense buildings, walls, traps and heroes). Different layouts and base designs do not affect strength. The only way a member’s strength can be changed is if they upgrade their troops, defenses, spells, etc.

Hey guys, how do you think this last war went? We tried having 15 - 40 attack their opposite. Some followed, some missed the clan mail! Any thoughts on how that worked and whether we should try it again on next war?
I know someone mentioned the opponent having witches in their war castles and how difficult they were to draw out and kill. Should we try to add them as a default troop in the upcoming war prep?
Also, what was your thoughts on start time/day for this last war? Hate it, love it, or didn't make a difference?
Thanks, as always, for your feedback!

To a point i like how the strategy went but its hard to set a hard line when you get such different clans in war. Usually at least the bottom half are matched up well but if someone doesnt like their chances with their opposite they should vocalize it so we can work out a switch instead of trying anyway. The archer/wizard/witch combo is great but gonna be hard to do until more are able to give witches. If you put in a good amount of archers in front of wizards it takes a while before cc empties as well. Im good with any start time as i will adjust. Those that are young and have school need to let best time be known

I like the 12:00-1:00 start time on Wednesday and the 5:30 on Saturday was OK too albeit perhaps a bit late maybe 4:30 would be slightly better? Either way I am OK with whatever you guys decide. Good kicking on Oz The Great BTW, and the other two. I was trying to figure out who Oz knew. He seemed to always do very poor in War when and if he ever attacked.

Hi guys, this is just my taught on why we are on such a bad loosing run. I personally think we are too bottom heavy. All our bottom bases are being picked off with one attack allowing the enemy clan more attacks on our middle bases. I really think we need to add a couple of middle or heavy hitters to make us stronger and loose some of the very weak members. I know we have been adding lower bases in order to get a fairer enemy clan but it's not paying off and we were doing so much better when we had a stronger clan. Anyways just my taughts on what is happening at the mo. Peace out

Hey. Sorry Figsy but im gonna have to disagree a little... i think its our middle ranks that are swollen. In this last war only 4 of our th8s 3starred one their th8s, and 2 of those were their lowest th8s. We have 16 th8s...almost half the war party.
ill go check the previous war and see how many of us 3starred a th8

Anyway...my biggest concern is that i can hardly ever 3star a high up th8...let alone a lower th8.
