Hey guys! I was reading through our old threads on the "rules" of the clan! I'd like to revisit the topic so we are at least clear on the guidelines we are following!
- 50% donated to received troop ratio - 500+ donations per season (2 weeks) to get elder status, 300+ each season to keep it - War on Wednesday & Sunday - Communication with leadership if unavailable for war (or post on forum thread)
Adding new members: - level 55+ - decent donation levels under "friend in need" achievements
Demotions & Promotions: - Elder promotion will be earned as soon as donation level is met - Co-leader promotions will be discussed and decided by Co-leaders. Promotion will happen just prior to end of current season. - Elder & Co-leader demotion for missing back to back wars without notice. Demotion for falling below the 300 donations at end of season.
Please weigh in! Does this sound fair or to strict? Is there something I left out?
On troop donations, we have a large, young crew asking for high level troops. Most of us do not keep them on hand except for war. Please guide them, some get it and some still need help understanding!
Thanks!

This looks really good, the only thing I would add is to create a thread for vacations. It reduces the possality that the elder or co might forget that they were notified of an absents.

I think knocking back all elders who don't make 500 donations in a round seem harsh and may result in more frequent changes of rank - which I believe is best avoided. How about one number of donations to get the promotions and a lower number to stay there? Like 500 to make elder and 300 not to get demoted?
as for the new members - we have a number of quite weak new members who are not making enough donations. Have some of these been let in as friends or family?

I hear what you are saying, we can reduce the number to keep elder status to 300. The donation levels required to be promoted may increase down the road as we replace less active members.

Just want to circle back on the guidelines. As always, please be sure to point out anything you have concerns or questions about.
Guidelines: - 50% donated to received troop ratio - 500+ donations per season (2 weeks) to get elder status, 300+ each season to keep it - War on Wednesday & Sunday - use both attacks! - Communication with leadership if unavailable for war (or post on forum thread) - Keep it clean, this is a kid friendly clan
Adding new members: - level 55+ - decent numbers under "friend in need" & "war hero" achievements
Promotions: - Elder promotion will be earned as soon as donation level is met - Co-leader promotions will be discussed and decided by Co-leaders. Will not happen every season as the amount of Co-leaders will be small.
Demotions: - For missing wars without notice. - For falling below the 300 donations at end of season. - For kicking people not approved by co-leaders and leader. (If a co-leader or leader is not available, the only situation where it is acceptable to kick someone is when it concerns constant foul language and overall nasty attitude. We will not tolerate bullying of any kind.)
